In love with Franco Fontana’s colours
The Italian photographer was born in 1933 in Modena, Italy. His images are collected all over the world: at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie, Paris, the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Metropolitan Museum of Photography, Tokyo and at in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
He is famous for his use of colour: for him “Colour is a physiological sensation, it is an emotional and psychological interpretation, a way of knowledge. That is why it is crucial in photography”.
